Talk2Camera

Refund policy

Short version: if you bought it here, write to us. If you bought it in an app store, only that store can refund it.

One recording, one file. The camera changes at the marker; the take does not.

Refund policy

Where you bought it decides who refunds it

Talk2Camera subscriptions are sold three ways, and the refund route differs for each. Check which applies to you before writing to anyone — it will save you a week.

Bought on this website

Paddle is the merchant of record, which means Paddle is the seller and handles the payment. We can start a refund for you, and Paddle processes it.

Write to privacy@talk2camera.com from the address on the account, say what you bought and roughly when. You do not need a reason. We aim to answer within two working days, and once approved the money takes five to ten working days to reach your card or account, depending on your bank.

Your 14-day right to cancel

If you are a consumer in the UK or the EU, you have a statutory right to cancel a purchase within 14 days of buying it.

Because access to a subscription starts immediately, you agree when you subscribe that the service begins straight away. That means a refund inside the 14 days can be reduced in proportion to the part of the period you have already had. If you have used none of it, you get all of it back.

This right is on top of anything below — nothing here takes it away.

The model withdrawal form

You do not have to use this form — an email saying you want to cancel is enough — but the law requires us to make it available, so here it is. Copy it, fill it in and send it to the address above.

To: Talk2Camera, privacy@talk2camera.com

I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the supply of the following service:

Ordered on: [date] Name: [your name] Address: [your address] Email: [the address on the account]

Signature (only if sending on paper): ____________________ Date: [today]

Bought in the App Store or Google Play

Apple and Google took the payment, and only they can return it. We cannot issue a refund for a purchase we never received.

For the App Store, use reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account that bought it. For Google Play, use the Play Store order history, or play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory. Both have their own refund windows and their own discretion.

If they decline and you think the reason was something we did, write to us anyway. We cannot overturn their decision, but we would rather know.

When we will refund without being asked twice

If a paid feature did not work and we could not fix it, if you were charged after cancelling, or if you were charged twice, tell us and we will put it right. These are our mistakes, not disputes.

Cancelling is not the same as refunding

Cancelling stops the next payment. It does not refund the period you are in, and you keep access until that period ends.

Cancel where you bought it: your Apple subscription settings, your Google Play subscription settings, or the account area on this website. Deleting your Talk2Camera account does not cancel a subscription billed by Apple or Google — only they can stop that charge.

What is never charged for

Recording, mid-take camera switching, the teleprompter, trimming, captions and platform export are free and do not expire. If you are being asked to pay for one of those, something is wrong — tell us.
