A first take is mostly good, with gaps. Removing the gaps is the highest-value edit available and takes minutes rather than hours.
The app finds silences longer than about a second and proposes each as a cut you can review. Nothing is removed until you agree to it, and every cut can be switched off again afterwards — the original recording is never modified.
Do not remove all of them. A pause before an important sentence is doing work, and a video with every gap cut out is exhausting to watch. Take out the ones where you were thinking; leave the ones where the listener is.
