Burn captions into the video or export an .srt, with style controls and per-line timing.

  • AndroidiOS times captions from the speech in the recording. No Android API transcribes a recorded file with word timings, so Android times them from where you actually reached in the script when voice follow was on — and estimates otherwise. The editor tells you which of the two this take got.
The Captions tab: a Burn in captions switch, a note that timings are estimated from the script, an Adjust timing button and an Export .srt button.
Captions are built from the script you read, and the app says plainly when the timings are estimated rather than measured.
